The little butterfly

A girl butterfly sat on the sidewalk watching the other butterflies play. They were laughing and swinging, taking turns pushing each other. She watched them whisper secrets to each other. She had tried to be friends with them, but they told her they didn't like the way she looked. To play with them, she had to speak like them, behave like them, laugh like them, and appear to be part of the crowd like them her parents worked hard to make her like the other butterflies. They bought her what they could, but she had siblings that needed things too. She loved her parents. She didn't blame them. She couldn't figure out why everyone wanted her to change She was nice. She knew how to act right. Yet every day she sat and watched everyone play.

She would get lonely, she would get angry, and she even tried to make friends with bad butterflies from old times, so that they play with her. But at the end when they played a little , she knew they were not good and she really did not want to be with them.

She also wrote little poems to god

If you only knew my pain, then maybe you would understand.
If you could only see the, tears that I have cried.
If you could only hear, that agony that I've gone through. Maybe then you'd understand.
If you could only feel, my hopes and dreams disintegrate.
If only you knew, maybe then you'd understand my pain. The hurt that I've gone through, seems too great for me.
If only you could feel my pain, hear my hopes fall to the ground, see my dreams crushed beneath you feet. Can you hear my faint cry for help?
I have hurt more than you can imagine,
If you only knew my pain, then maybe you would see ,My soul broke into tiny shards of broken glass ,my heart to stone and then broke it into tiny pebbles.
How can you not see the pain, how can you not understand?

God heard her and sent her a boy butterfly, they both became friends, flew from flower to flower, garden to garden and were happy, gathering honey   and maybe were in love

Her old butterflies from the past saw her happy and constantly tried to get back to her for whatever reasons and tempted her .She used to get tempted of and on and felt they would want to be with them as well.

Now that her world seemed different, she wanted to still test the boy butterfly

One day, they decided to play a game and the girl butterfly said “one who sits in this flower tomorrow first in the morning loves the other one more....." .The boy butterfly agreed .Next morning, the girl butterfly waits for the flower to open so that she can sit first . Finally, the flower opened .And what did she see? The buy butterfly had died inside the flower. He stayed there all night ,so that early in the morning as soon as she sees him he can fly and tell her how much he loved her.

Message : In a youthful world  where we are mechanically working morning to night ,are living in a nuclear family ,far away from our homes – the desire of pleasure , companionship , the mercurial world , loneliness , make us speak , act in a certain way .
Very often we forget to count our blessings, question our relationships, our companions, we forget living might mean taking chances, but they are worth taking, loving might be a mistake, but it’s worth making. May we all get what we want, but more importantly learn to love what we have.
I've observed and learnt that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends on our dispositions and not on our circumstances.

The monkey's paw

The Monkey's Paw" is a story   by author W. W. Jacobs.
The story involves Mr. & Mrs. White and their grown-up son, A friend gives them a monkey's paw, telling of its mysterious powers to grant three wishes, and tells the family of its journey from an old fakir to his comrade.
Mr. White greedily wishes for 200 pounds. Suddenly there is a knock on the door and they get a message that their son is killed by machinery at his company, and they will get the insurance amount of 200 pounds.
Days after they bury Herbert, Mrs. White, almost mad with grief, asks her husband to wish Herbert back to life with the paw. Mr. White is very reluctant, scared but does so. After few moments there are rapid knocking sounds on their door. Mrs. White already mad with grief, shrieks, fumbles at the locks in an attempt to open the door. Mr. White goes white with fear and thinks that if it is his son, he cannot be allowed inside the house, as his appearance will be too horrific; since his son was mutilated by the accident and was buried for more than a week.
Mr. White shaking with fear wishes his third wish; that Herbert be dead again. The knocking stops. Mrs. White already mad opens the door to find no one there and runs out of the house with grief
Later when Mr. White saw, the description of the paw was: '"It has a spell put on it by an old holy man. He wanted to show that if fate ruled people's lives, and those who interfered with it did so to their sorrow"'.
Moral of the story  : Always be thankful for what you have and careful of what  you wish for , god might fulfill some of these wishes and at times they might come at a huge cost .
